Candle Pressure Flip Engine
An exhausted move plus a rejection candle isn't a guess. It's pressure changing hands.
Five conditions have to agree before a flip prints — exhaustion, wick, close, volume and momentum. One alone is just a candle.
Free & open-source · Works on any market and timeframe · Signals confirmed on bar close · A structured reversal-analysis and review tool — not a signal service, not financial advice, and no performance guarantee.
An open-source candle-pressure reversal engine: it requires an ATR-measured exhaustion move, then a rejection-wick + close-pressure + body candle, confirmed by volume burst and an RSI momentum flip, scored 0–100 — firing a BULLISH / BEARISH FLIP with an ATR×4 risk and single RR target, WIN/LOSS result tracking, a background Auto-Best optimizer (up to 81 combos) and a Crimson Spine price ribbon.
Fading a move is seductive and brutal. Price runs hard, a big rejection candle prints, you step in front of it — and it keeps going. The problem is that a single rejection wick, on its own, means almost nothing. Without an exhausted move behind it, a strong close, real volume and momentum actually turning, that 'reversal candle' is just noise dressed up as a signal.
Candle Pressure Flip Engine refuses to flip on one condition. First it measures the prior move in ATR and counts directional bars to confirm genuine exhaustion. Then the trigger candle has to clear several pressure tests at once — a minimum rejection wick on the right side, a close pressed into the right end of its range, and enough body — before the optional volume-burst and RSI-momentum-flip filters weigh in. Everything is folded into a 0–100 score, and only setups above your mode's threshold (Aggressive / Balanced / Conservative) print a BULLISH or BEARISH FLIP.
Every flip projects a single, clean trade plan: an ATR×4-based risk zone, one RR target, ENTRY/TARGET/RISK tags, and a WIN/LOSS stamp once price resolves. A background optimizer quietly grid-tests up to 81 internal combinations and can auto-promote the strongest by wins or win-rate. A Crimson Spine ribbon traces pressure around price, a mini dashboard reads mode, side, score and last result, and dynamic text/JSON alerts carry the full plan. Open-source and free — read every rule — a structured reversal-review tool, not a signal service or guarantee.
- Fade only exhausted moves with a genuinely confirming candle
- Demand wick + close-pressure + body together, not a lone rejection
- Add volume-burst and RSI-momentum-flip confirmation on top
- See one clean ATR risk zone and RR target per flip, with WIN/LOSS tracking
- Let the background optimizer surface the strongest internal combo
- Free & open-source — inspect and adapt every line of the logic
Reversal traders who fade exhausted moves — but only when the rejection candle truly confirms
8 components, one output
ATR exhaustion engine
Requires a real prior move — measured in ATR over a lookback with a minimum count of directional bars — before any flip is even considered.
Multi-test rejection candle
The trigger must clear a minimum rejection wick, a close pressed into the right end of its range, and a minimum body — three pressure tests, not one wick.
Volume + momentum flip
Optional volume-burst confirmation and an RSI momentum-turn filter (with anti-extension caps) keep flips out of dead, already-stretched conditions.
0–100 score + modes
Blends exhaustion, wick, close, body, volume and momentum into one score; Aggressive / Balanced / Conservative scale the threshold from loose to strict.
Single-target trade plan
Projects an ATR×4-based risk zone and one RR target with ENTRY / TARGET / RISK tags and clean target/risk boxes — no clutter of stacked levels.
WIN / LOSS result tracking
Tracks whether target or risk hits first (with a conservative same-bar rule) and stamps the outcome, feeding the dashboard's last-result readout.
Auto-Best optimizer
Grid-tests up to 81 internal parameter combinations as virtual trades and can auto-promote the strongest by wins or win-rate after a minimum sample.
Crimson Spine + dashboard + alerts
A premium EMA spine/echo ribbon traces pressure around price, a mini dashboard shows mode/side/score/result, and dynamic Human or JSON alerts carry the full plan.
From a blank chart to a read
- Add Candle Pressure Flip Engine to any candlestick chart and start with Balanced mode.
- Wait for a BULLISH FLIP ▲ or BEARISH FLIP ▼ — it only prints after an exhausted move and a confirming candle.
- Check the prior move was genuinely extended and the rejection wick + close pressure look clean.
- Read the score and dashboard (mode, side, Auto-Best state, last result) for context.
- Use the projected ENTRY / TARGET / RISK zones as a structure reference and watch for the WIN/LOSS stamp.
- Leave the optimizer on Auto-Best to let it favour the strongest internal combo, or fix a mode for manual control.
- Treat it as decision support, set Human/JSON alerts to monitor, and validate on the symbols and timeframes you trade.

Smart Reversal Entry
A reversal is only worth taking after the move that earned it — and a close that confirms it.

Most losing trades aren't bad entries. They're good entries taken in a market that was never tradeable.
