IFVG Sniper Entry Engine

Don't react to every fair value gap. Wait for the one that inverts — then sniper one clean entry.

The idea

An FVG forms, gets stored, and only matters when price breaks through the other side. Inversion first, then one filtered, sniper-style entry.

Free & open-source · Works on any market and timeframe · Signals confirmed on bar close · A structured IFVG analysis and review tool — not a signal service, not financial advice, and no performance guarantee.

What it does

An open-source Inversion Fair Value Gap engine: it stores hidden FVGs in memory, waits for price to break the opposite boundary, confirms the inversion on the close, then runs each event through a quality filter (gap/ATR, body ratio, range/ATR and a clean-break buffer). Only filtered IFVG+ / IFVG- print — each drawing one ATR-based SL, one selectable 1R–6R take-profit and a single active TP/SL box under a strict one-trade-at-a-time rule, with three premium themes and a compact engine dashboard.

Fair value gaps are everywhere, and that's exactly why most FVG tools become noise. They paint a box on every imbalance and treat each one as tradeable, so your chart fills with zones that never meant anything. The piece that actually matters isn't the gap — it's what happens when price comes back and breaks through the opposite side of it.

IFVG Sniper Entry Engine is built around inversion. It quietly stores hidden bullish and bearish FVGs in memory, then watches for price to close through the opposite boundary — a bearish gap broken upward becomes a bullish IFVG+, a bullish gap broken downward becomes a bearish IFVG-. Every inversion is then put through a quality filter: minimum gap size relative to ATR, candle body ratio, candle range relative to ATR, and a clean-break buffer. Off / Loose / Balanced / Strict / Custom modes scale exactly how selective it is, so only the cleaner inversions ever reach your chart.

Each filtered IFVG draws one structured projection — an entry (IFVG line or confirmation close), an ATR-based stop and a single selectable 1R–6R target inside an active TP/SL box that extends while live and is removed once TP or SL is hit. A strict one-trade-at-a-time rule keeps the chart clean, automatic invalidation clears dead levels, three premium themes (Obsidian Sniper, Ice Blue, Royal Gold) set the look, and a compact dashboard reads filter mode, last signal, trade status, RR and entry/SL/TP. Open-source and free — read every rule — a structured IFVG review tool, not a signal service or guarantee.

What you get out of it
  • Act on inversions, not every raw fair value gap
  • Let the gap/ATR, body, range and clean-break filter cut the noise
  • Scale selectivity with Off / Loose / Balanced / Strict / Custom modes
  • See one clean ATR stop and a single 1R–6R target per setup
  • Keep the chart focused with one active trade at a time and auto-invalidation
  • Free & open-source — inspect and adapt every line of the logic
Best for

Smart-money and ICT-style traders who want filtered inversion setups with one clean trade projection — not every raw FVG

Inside the engine

7 components, one output

Hidden FVG memory

Stores raw bullish and bearish fair value gaps with their direction, age, gap/ATR, body ratio and range/ATR — then expires them after a configurable age so only live imbalances stay eligible for inversion.

Inversion confirmation

Waits for price to close through the opposite boundary of a stored FVG — a bearish gap broken upward prints IFVG+, a bullish gap broken downward prints IFVG- — with an ATR clean-break buffer to avoid shallow touches.

IFVG quality filter

Off / Loose / Balanced / Strict / Custom modes screen each inversion on minimum gap/ATR, candle body ratio and range/ATR, so only filtered IFVGs ever appear on the chart.

Sniper entry model

Entry from the IFVG line or the confirmation close, an ATR-length × multiplier stop, and one selectable 1R–6R take-profit — a single clean plan, never stacked levels.

Active-only TP/SL box

Each setup draws a TP/SL box with entry, stop and target lines that extends to the right while live and is removed the moment TP or SL is reached, with a conservative SL-first same-candle rule.

One trade at a time

A strict one-active-trade rule blocks new projections until the current one resolves, while new filtered IFVG lines can still appear; automatic invalidation clears levels that price closes back through.

Premium themes + dashboard

Obsidian Sniper, Ice Blue and Royal Gold theme packages (or full custom colors) plus a compact dashboard reading filter mode, label size, last signal, trade status, RR and entry/SL/TP — with bull/bear/IFVG+/IFVG- alerts.

How to use it

From a blank chart to a read

  1. Add IFVG Sniper Entry Engine to any candlestick chart and start with the default Balanced filter mode.
  2. Wait for a filtered IFVG+ (bullish) or IFVG- (bearish) label — it only prints after an inversion clears the quality filter.
  3. Use Strict mode if the chart is too noisy, or Loose if it shows too few IFVGs.
  4. Review the active TP/SL box — entry, ATR stop and the selected 1R–6R target — as a structure reference.
  5. Remember only one trade projects at a time; new IFVG lines can still appear while a trade is live.
  6. Pick a theme (Obsidian Sniper / Ice Blue / Royal Gold) and read the dashboard for mode, last signal and status.
  7. Treat it as decision support, set the IFVG alerts to monitor, and validate on the markets and timeframes you trade.
