Liquidity Entry Zones

Price didn't break the level. It hunted the stops below it — then turned. That's the entry.

The idea

A sweep alone means nothing. A sweep that gets reclaimed — with the right candle — is a setup.

What it does

An open-source liquidity-sweep reclaim framework: it stores recent pivot highs and lows as liquidity levels, detects a real sweep through one, validates the reclaim and candle quality, confirms inside a limited window, and then projects a full ATR-stop / RR-target trade structure with a live status panel.

Every trader has watched price spike through an obvious high or low, felt sure the breakout was real, and then watched it snap straight back — leaving them stopped out exactly where the move began. That spike wasn't a breakout. It was a liquidity sweep: the market reaching beyond a level to take the stops resting there, then turning. The problem is that on a raw chart, a genuine reclaim and a meaningless wick look almost identical in the moment.

Liquidity Entry Zones is built to separate the two. It stores recent pivot highs and lows as real liquidity levels, then waits for price to push through one by at least a minimum ATR distance — a real sweep, not a trivial poke. Only then does it ask the questions that matter: did price reclaim back through the level, was the sweep candle's wick dominant and its body contained, did the move clear the candle's midline, and does it agree with your optional EMA context? Each surviving setup is graded with an internal quality score and confirmed on bar close inside a limited window — so stale sweeps expire instead of lingering.

When a reclaim confirms, the script projects the whole structure for you: entry, an ATR-based stop that adapts to volatility, and a take-profit at your chosen risk–reward (1.5R up to 6R), with TP/SL boxes, an entry line and sweep guides. A compact panel keeps bias, sweep state, signal state, quality, volatility and session in one place. It's a structured decision-support and chart-review framework — open-source and free, so you can read every rule yourself — not a signal service and not a promise of results.

What you get out of it
  • Tell a real stop-hunt reclaim apart from a meaningless wick
  • Trade sweeps of actual pivot-based liquidity — not arbitrary price spikes
  • Filter every sweep by wick, body, range, reclaim and midline quality
  • See an ATR stop and RR target projected automatically on the chart
  • Read bias, sweep state, signal and quality in one status panel
  • Free & open-source — inspect and adapt every line of the logic
Best for

Traders who trade stop-hunts and reclaims, and want rules instead of discretionary sweep-reading

Inside the engine

8 components, one output

Pivot-based liquidity storage

Stores a configurable number of recent pivot highs and lows as real liquidity reference levels, so sweeps are measured against structure — not arbitrary price.

ATR-qualified sweep detection

Only counts a sweep when price pushes beyond a stored level by at least a minimum ATR distance, filtering out trivial overextensions.

Reclaim validation

Requires price to close back through the swept level — with an optional Strong Reclaim mode that also demands a close beyond the candle midline.

Candle-quality filters

Grades the sweep on minimum wick %, maximum body %, and minimum ATR range, with optional bullish/bearish body confirmation for the signal direction.

Confirmation window + cooldown

Gives a sweep a limited number of bars to confirm so stale setups expire, and enforces a cooldown so signals don't cluster.

Internal quality score

Combines wick, body, range, EMA alignment, reclaim and midline-break into a 0–100 score that summarises how well each setup meets the rules.

ATR stop + RR target projection

Projects entry, an ATR-based stop and a selectable RR take-profit (1.5R–6R) with TP/SL boxes, entry and invalidation lines, and SL-priority on same-bar conflicts.

Live status panel + alerts

Shows Bias, Sweep State, Signal State, Quality, Volatility, Session and Risk State, with alerts for bullish and bearish liquidity reclaims.

How to use it

From a blank chart to a read

  1. Add Liquidity Entry Zones to any candlestick chart and start with the default settings.
  2. Set the pivot length and stored-level count to define how liquidity references are built.
  3. Set the minimum ATR sweep distance so trivial level pokes are filtered out.
  4. Choose your reclaim rule (Close Back Inside or Strong Reclaim) and candle-quality filters.
  5. Optionally enable the EMA trend filter and midline confirmation, then set the confirmation window and cooldown.
  6. Pick your ATR stop multiplier and take-profit RR, then wait for a close-confirmed bullish or bearish reclaim.
  7. Use the projected entry / ATR stop / RR target and the panel as an analysis framework — review it across symbols before any live use.
