What it does

An open-source momentum-pulse framework: a Special-K engine measures how far momentum has stretched from its signal line, classifies it Weak → Extreme, scores each setup 0–100, and fires a LONG / SHORT pulse with star quality — then projects an ATR-based Entry / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 / SL box, colors the active trade, and reads it all through five signal modes, an HTF bias filter and a live dashboard.

Momentum oscillators have the same weakness: they cross all day. Every little wiggle of the line over its signal looks like a signal, so you end up reacting to noise — small, random separations that mean nothing — and missing the one move where momentum has actually stretched far enough to matter. The cross was never the edge. The size and context of the stretch is.

Pulse Entry Engine is built around that distinction. A Special-K momentum engine produces a core and a signal line, and the script measures the distance between them against its own recent average to get a stretch ratio — Weak, Normal, Strong or Extreme. A LONG or SHORT pulse only fires when that stretch is strong enough for your chosen mode, agrees with the zero-line and EMA context, optionally aligns with a higher-timeframe bias, and clears a 0–100 confluence score. Each pulse is stamped with a star quality rating and projected as a full ATR-based Entry / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 / SL structure, with the active trade's candles coloured until it resolves.

Five signal modes — Aggressive, Balanced, Scalping, Swing and Funded Account — retune the strictness from 'show me everything' to 'only the cleanest'; Swing and Funded force the EMA and zero filters on. A compact dashboard keeps mode, bias, stretch, score, strength and HTF status in one place, a neon-histogram oscillator shows momentum expanding and contracting in real time, and dynamic text alerts carry every detail. It's a structured momentum-review framework — open-source and free, read every rule — not a signal service or a promise of results.

Special-K momentum engine

A smoothed momentum core and signal line form the base of every pulse — the relationship between them, not a raw price cross, drives the logic.

Stretch detection

Measures the engine-to-signal distance against its recent average to classify the move Weak, Normal, Strong or Extreme — so tiny separations are ignored.

Five signal modes

Aggressive, Balanced, Scalping, Swing and Funded Account retune stretch and score thresholds; Swing and Funded force EMA + zero filters on for stricter setups.

0–100 score + star quality

Grades each pulse on direction, stretch strength, zero and EMA alignment, shown as a numeric score, a strength bar and a 1–5 star label on the chart.

Zero, EMA & HTF context

A reversal-style zero filter, an EMA location filter and an optional higher-timeframe bias (EMA100 / EMA200 / Engine HTF) keep pulses in agreement with context.

ATR Entry / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 / SL

Projects an ATR-based stop and 25% / 50% / 100% take-profit ladder to your chosen RR, tracks the highest TP reached, and gates new signals until the active one progresses.

Active-trade visuals

Colours the live trade's candles, highlights the exact signal candle, and flashes a pulse background — so a fresh setup and an open projection are obvious at a glance.

How to use it

From a blank chart to a read

  1. Add Pulse Entry Engine to any candlestick chart and start with the Pro display + Balanced mode.
  2. Pick a visual theme, and keep Bar Close confirmation for cleaner historical review.
  3. Watch the neon histogram for momentum expansion and the dashboard for the stretch state.
  4. Optionally enable the HTF bias filter (EMA100 / EMA200 / Engine HTF) for broader context.
  5. Wait for a LONG or SHORT pulse — check its star rating, score and stretch in the dashboard.
  6. Use the projected Entry / TP1 / TP2 / TP3 / SL box as a structure reference and watch which level resolves.
  7. Treat it as decision support, set alerts to monitor hands-free, and validate on the symbols and timeframes you actually trade.
