Reaction Entry Engine

A zone touched ten times isn't support anymore. The edge is in the first reaction.

The idea

Most zones get drawn after they already worked. This one grades them before price arrives.

What it does

An open-source supply & demand framework: it builds zones from confirmed pivots, validates them with an impulse filter and a quality grade, then projects a full entry / stop / target the moment price makes its first qualifying touch.

Supply and demand is everywhere — and that's the problem. Most tools paint a box on every pivot and treat the first touch exactly like the tenth, so your chart fills with levels and you're left guessing which one actually matters. A fresh zone backed by a real impulse move behaves nothing like an area that's already been chewed through five times.

Reaction Entry Engine is built around one selective idea: the first qualifying touch. It constructs zones from confirmed pivots (chart and higher-timeframe), filters out weak formations with an impulse check, and scores what's left with a quality model that grades each zone A / B / TRASH based on displacement, reaction and penetration. Only when price makes its first touch into a zone that passes your grade does it project a complete entry, stop and target — with on-chart review panels that show how prior projected setups behaved under your exact settings.

It's a structured decision-support and review framework — open-source, so you can read every rule, and free to add to your charts. Not a black box, not a promise: a sharper way to decide which zones deserve your attention.

What you get out of it
  • Focus on the first reaction into a zone, not the noisy retests
  • Filter out weak pivots with the impulse-strength check
  • Let the A / B / TRASH grade rank zones before price gets there
  • See entry, stop and target projected automatically on a touch
  • Free & open-source — read and verify every rule yourself
Best for

Traders who treat the first reaction into a zone as the one that matters

Inside the engine

6 components, one output

Pivot-built S&D zones

Supply and demand zones constructed from confirmed pivot highs and lows — as areas, not single lines — on the chart and a higher timeframe.

Impulse validation

Filters out pivots that formed without real directional commitment, using candle range, body and close-location vs ATR (and optional volume).

Quality grading (A / B / TRASH)

Scores each zone on post-formation displacement, reaction size, penetration depth and repeated-touch penalties.

First-touch selection

Acts on the earliest qualifying return into a valid zone instead of reacting to every revisit.

Entry / stop / target projection

Projects entry, SL and TP with lines and boxes, with an RR-based target and configurable stop distance.

Review panels

Performance and daily panels summarise projected trades, win rate, profit factor, R and drawdown under your current settings.

How to use it

From a blank chart to a read

  1. Add the indicator to a standard candlestick chart.
  2. Choose zones from the chart timeframe, a higher timeframe, or both.
  3. Set touch detection (wick / body / both) and enable the impulse filter to drop weak formations.
  4. Enable the quality engine and pick your minimum accepted grade.
  5. Wait for a qualifying first-touch BUY or SELL reaction.
  6. Use the projected entry / stop / target as an analysis framework, and the review panels to compare settings over time.
